Polaroid Film, for sale again?

I first found my love for photography with a Polariod camera back in the 1980's. Hundreds of polariod prints littered my parents' house when I was growing up...chances are, if you dig through their basement now, you could probably find at least 50 great prints shoved between books and in shoe boxes.

I so loved the Polariod that I used them at my wedding for guests to leave a note and an image for us to remember the day. And how sad I was when I heard that Polariod was shutting down business and would no longer produce film.

But today, I stumbled upon this article:

Polariod is not dead! Hooray! I wish you as much fun capturing your moments with a Polariod as I have had in my lifetime.

This past weekend I had 4 family, baby and/or toddler portrait sessions! In a few weeks you'll be able to view a gallery of my portrait work in the Westerville office of Drs. Krantz, Harmon, Jones & Cook.

Here's Jack, one of the cutest babies around. More to come tomorrow.

Wedding season is in full force beginning this weekend and I am so excited! Check back often for previews.

Amber and Jeff get married

This weekend I flew to Philadelphia to photograph the wedding of my good friend from college, Amber. From the minute I got to her house, I knew I was in for a fun event! We went to the magnificent King of Prussia mall to the MAC store for make up and back to her house where she & her bridesmaids had their hair done.

We then went on to Carinwood Mansion, one of the most beautiful venues that I've ever seen where we took family pictures with Amber honoring her mom's memory by wearing her wedding dress. On to time spent with Amber & Jeff before the big event and then Jeff's entrance into the ceremony with a loud, "Who's ready for a WEDDING!!??"

Jeff also serenaded Amber with a creative rendition of "I will always love you" by Whitney Houston. (Creative is probably being kind!)

From there we all , myself included, proceeded to dance the night away. Thank you to Amber and Jeff for including me in this day, I was honored that you chose to fly me there to be your photographer and thrilled to share in some special moments with you!

Congrats and enjoy the slide show!

Welcome to Miami...

I'm so tired from a whirlwind weekend in Miami that I'm just posting one quick pic of my friend Kellee's beautiful son, Christian. We spent a couple of hours with her extended family and got some magnificent images of them on the water in South Miami this weekend.

Thanks Kellee for having me there! More to come later this week...
