I still have some open wedding dates for Summer 2009:

June 6 and 13
July 4 and 25
August 15
September 5, 12 and 19

Still offering a 10% discount for Friday evening or Sunday afternoon weddings.

I am continuing to book in-home portrait sessions, parties and events. I was lucky enough to shoot Vance last weekend, he is just four months and already hamming it up for the camera!

Portrait of a one year old

This morning I took some images of Andrew at his house. He turned one just a month ago. He & I had a lot of fun with the ball game. Thanks to his mom & dad who asked me to come out and take the pictures!

Here are a few I loved from the shoot.

Julie & Thad's engagement

On Friday, I had the pleasure of spending some time with Julie & Thad, who are getting married on August 29. We had fun at the Franklin Park Conservatory. Here are a few of my favorites...

This was a great moment...

Awards!

I was so excited to check my email this morning and see a note from Wedding Wire...a wedding planning website associated with Martha Stewart Weddings. Minister Images Photography was named a winner in the 2009 Bride's Choice Awards!

2009 Bride's Choice Awards presented by WeddingWire Wedding Cakes, Wedding Venues, Wedding Photographers & More

WeddingWire, the nation’s leading wedding technology company, just announced that Minister Images Photography has won the 2009 Bride’s Choice Awards™!

In its inaugural year, the Bride’s Choice Awards recognizes and honors vendors from the WeddingWire Network that demonstrate excellent quality of service, responsiveness, professionalism, value of cost and flexibility.

This year’s recipients represent the top three percent of WeddingWire’s vendor community, which includes over 100,000 wedding vendors from across the US. That means Minister Images Photography is one of the very best Wedding Photographers.

Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the company, the Bride’s Choice Awards are determined exclusively by recent newlyweds through surveys and reviews. “We are excited to launch this annual award program to honor high-performing vendors based solely on the experiences of our WeddingWire community,” according to Timothy Chi, WeddingWire’s Chief Executive Officer. “This year’s recipients have set the bar high, exhibiting excellent service and expertise in the wedding industry.”

Thank you so much to my past clients. I truly feel honored.

FORE!

I guess I should say FOUR! I spent Saturday morning with Gracie taking some 4 year old birthday portraits. Gracie used to be our neighber and is my son George's betrothed (ha), but but also a great little model!

We had a ball at the Franklin Park Conservatory even though we had to brave the cold to get there.

Here are my favorites.
