Jennifer & Nick are Married!
This weekend I was lucky enough to join Nick & Jennifer as they celebrated their marriage at St. John's Church in downtown Columbus. As luck would have it, a storm brought Jennifer to Ohio and a storm was what started the day. Luckily the storm passed and the wedding went on in perfect weather...just like the luck that brought them together.After the ceremony, thanks to some more of that luck, we made it over to Ohio Stadium and into the locker room for some awesome "team" pictures of the bridal party.
Finally on to the University Plaza hotel for dinner and dancing...and dance they did. Everyone was on the dance floor and even Jen's grandma made it on to really "cut a rug!" A fun and lucky wedding from start to finish and a huge thank you to the bride and groom for including me in this day!!

Finally...Katie & Brian
Finally was the word that suited Katie & Brian's wedding...having met 7 years ago in their sophomore year Spanish class, everyone was so happy that they were FINALLY getting married.So appropriate, I suppose, that I had some technical difficulties getting their slide show posted and therefore I FINALLY got it up. My apologies to Katie, Brian and their friends and and family who were anxious to see the images.
Katie, Brian & I met all the way back in December at a Starbucks where we talked about their summer wedding at St. Brenden's church in Hilliard. They told me about meeting in Spanish class and warmed my heart with the tale of marrying their high school sweetheart.
The wedding was perfect from Katie finding her dress after the saleswoman told her it was sold out to Brian's brother offering quite possibly the funniest best man's toast that I've ever heard to the SAME sweet woman cutting their cake who had cut Katie's parents' wedding cake years before! The staff at the Clintonville Women's Club was great and it was an excellent reception spot where Katie & Brian got to set up their Wii for friends and family to enjoy when they weren't dancing (which was not often!)

At Last...Brenda & Nathan
Saturday started at the Laura Gregory Salon where Brenda and the girls had their hair done. On to the beautiful Our Lady of Victory in Grandview Heights for a wonderful Catholic ceremony, done by the Deacon who was presiding over his 2nd wedding! He had wonderful words of advice for Brenda and Nathan and truly understood the vows he helped them to make.The flowers were pink and cream roses, perfectly prepared by Connells Maple Lee Flowers, matched perfectly with the dresses from David's.
We braved the rain to head downtown where we got some beautiful images near the Santa Maria and then over to the Columbus Athanaeum for an awesome reception. Hands down, the best part BESIDES watching Brenda and Nathan "make eyes" at each other all night...easily The Hoodoo Soul Band!
